Director of Connected Scholarship
Greater Detroit Area
As Director of Connected Scholarship at the University of Michigan Library, I lead a team of individuals dedicated to partnering with our community of scholars and library colleagues to enable discovery, exploration and creation. We do this through direct user interactions, consultations, instruction, programs, collection curation, experiments, and learning spaces. Our Connected Scholarship programs include Ask a Librarian, ScholarSpace, the Shapiro Design Lab, and the Computer and Video Game Archive. With a commitment to designing inclusive and accessible learning experiences for all users, we connect with our community to co-create learning environments, explore the application of technologies to learning and teaching, and facilitate the discovery and use of information resources and expertise. We do this in order to empower and learn from our users, bridge disciplines, build networks, and enable the discovery of new possibilities for scholarship.
